On the North Devon coast, Ilfracombe boasts a picturesque working harbour, where you can admire the colourful houses, the ancient chapel, and the striking 60ft tall statue of Verity by Damien Hirst.

The town is surrounded by beaches, making it the ideal location for anyone looking for a beach holiday. On one side there is Wildersmouth Beach which you can access via the South West Coast Path, as well as Rapparee Cove and Hele Cove, which are smaller, secluded areas ideal for rock pooling. No holiday to Ilfracombe is complete without a trip to the famous Victorian hand carved  'The Tunnels' beaches.

North Devon has become the 12th location from around the globe to be selected as a World Surfing Reserve, an international designation that recognises and celebrates the area’s outstanding quality surfing beaches. Just a short drive from Ocean Terrace are the award winning beaches of Woolacombe, Croyde, Puttsborough to name just a few.

Ilfracombe is perfect for walkers with its stunning coastline directly on the South West Coastal Path.
